Dear readers and subscribers,
This is, first and foremost, a note of thanks to everyone who has read, subscribed and (especially) paid good hard cash for the chance to read The Falcon’s Children on this Substack. It it, second, a note of apology to anyone who has written me in the last few months asking why new paid subscriptions have been disabled and the last third of the novel kept out of sight. And finally, it’s an announcement: Next summer (no doubt just in time for the A.I. apocalypse, UFO Disclosure and more), The Falcon’s Children will be appearing in hardcover, published by Luminor, a new literary imprint in the Word on Fire publishing empire.
I don’t expect anyone who already paid once for the privilege of reading about the House of Montair to do so twice over, but if you were waiting anxiously to read the book as a book, you can pre-order the hardcover on Amazon right now. (Pre-orders will also double as encouragement for me to swiftly produce the sequel.) This site will remain up for a little while but it will likely be dismantled well before publication, evanescing like a faerie citadel in the online mist. Your emails will remain in my hands, but I promise to only send out one announcement (well, maybe two at the most) when the date of publication approaches.
thank you, thank you, thank you,
Ross
